ROADTRIP

Our dear friend Rachel was getting hitched, so we decided to go on a "friend's moon " before the wedding (apparently that's totally a thing and I'm into it).

Since we had visitors from Canada, Boston, New Zealand and California, naturally she wanted to show us around. Starting in her hometown of Cairns.

DOCK WITH A VIEW

We took this as a pretty good sign to start off with.

(Naturally, I travel with these inflatable Chillbo Schwaggins loungers in case of moments like this because they roll up and fit into my carry on.)

THE LANDSCAPE

Was unreal. We had to pull over multiple time to soak it all in.

LAKE BARRINE

Had to stop off for a quick dip or four.

Air sofa boat engaged.

GREEN LANDSCAPES

GREEN GREEN GREEN

Greenery and waterfalls for days.

THEN WE PRETTY MUCH FOUND HEAVEN.

A couple ferries later and a sea sickness or two...it was worth what we were greeted with on Green Island.

CHILLBO COAST

kinda the perfect place to Chillbo it up.

LUNCH TIME

Someone thought it would be a good idea to bring lunch to us. In the ocean. On a tray.

A little soggy, but more delicious.

DOING OUR DUTY

as friends...we had to get Rachel off her rocker in celebrations of becoming a Mrs.

Though admittedly she did a lot of the work herself.
